I'm living through the night
Streetlights coming low, the boulevard is breathing
I watch the neon signs flicker on and off
Cabs are rolling by with strangers in the backseat
Everybody's got somewhere they gotta be
Somebody's playing drums outside the liquor store
Coins dropping in the bucket, trying to make it full
I see my own reflection in the storefront windows
Wondering if the man I am is who I'm meant to be
The city never stops, it just keeps rearranging, and I'm just trying to find my place inside the symphony
I keep moving, feet on the pavement
Heart keeps beating through the right
I'm living through the night
Maybe tomorrow brings a different kind of sunrise
Maybe I'll wake up and recognize the view
