If I wanted to die, would you miss me at all?
Would I end up a name you can barely recall?
In the halls, I wander now. My shadow crawls upon this ground.
Beyond a door, beneath your feet, a story told they won't repeat.
Who is the person in my chair?
I scream and cry, but they don't care.
The memories that play for me, I can't recall at all.
A single being in the past is a girl I should know, crying out to the ground below.
But as the leaves start to change, and the ticks turn to days, I wait along for you to say my name.
If I wanted to die, would you miss me at all?
I would say with a laugh, "Fuck the writings on the wall." Would my ghost be a stranger you'd barely recall?
Would you reach with a hand as I fall?
Spores 'round my eyes, fungi rising through my skin.
In the dark night, breathing walls, feel them slowly drawing in and around me.
Buried deep under fallen leaves, again, withering alone in the freeze.
With a shadow, I grow in a world that'll rot away.
